Virtual Medicine Conference 2020 Online Hackathon : And the winner is...

This past Saturday we had the privilege to announce the winners of The Virtual Medicine Conference 2020 Online Hackathon in AltspaceVR in VR! With over 275 participants it wasn't an easy decision for our judges. We invite you to go to the vMed20 Hackathon gallery to congratulate the winners and check out all of the awesome submissions!

The hackathon part of the 2020 Virtual Medicine Conference which, unfortunately, had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The vMed conference is intended for a wide range of stakeholders seeking to learn about the implementation, outcomes, and cost-effectiveness of immersive virtual therapeutics in clinical practice and the role of VR and AR in medical education and simulation. Participants include clinicians using VR for patient care, patients exploring the benefits of VR as a complementary therapy, hospitals and clinics evaluating the health economics of starting a medical VR program, industry partners developing VR hardware and software solutions, journalists investigating the latest advances in medical VR, and investors seeking to learn the evidence and ROI for healthcare VR solutions. Follow us on social media and check out our website to keep up with the latest information about how VR is being used in healthcare as well as upcoming events, including vMed 21!

A huge thank you to our sponsors, judges and everyone who submitted and supported this hackathon.
